The Six Dhātus

The six elemental energies constitute a very powerful set of energies.

They take a very long time to come in as attunements when requested (much longer than typical attunements: as much as a couple hours each, if I recall) and are so strong they can only be run for a few seconds before becoming too intense.

The set of energies is:

• pathavī dhātu: the earth element
  
• āpo dhātu: the water element
  
• tejo dhātu: the fire element
  
• vāyo dhātu: the air element
  
• ākāsa dhātu: the space element
  
• viññāṇa dhātu: the consciousness element

The pathavī dhātu energy goes to the base chakra.
The āpo dhātu energy goes to the second chakra.
The tejo dhātu energy goes to the solar plexus chakra.
The vāyo dhātu energy goes to the heart chakra, and to a lesser extent to the throat and brow chakra.
The ākāsa dhātu energy goes to the throat chakra, and to a lesser extent to the brow chakra.
The viññāṇa dhātu energy goes to the crown chakra, and to a lesser extent to the brow chakra.

Since these energies are so strong and so fundamental, I am very curious as to their applications. So far I find them too strong to do much of anything with, and I worry that working with them disproportionately could lead to imbalances.
